Health Care Faces Challenge in Getting HIPAA Insurance

The costs of HIPAA compliance go well beyond the costs of retooling policies and procedures for protecting patient privacy and health records.

As hospital systems, managed care organizations and other covered entities focus on their regulatory compliance, health care executives also are looking for ways to limit their exposure through business insurance.

The audio seminar will take place on Tuesday, October 22 from 1 pm โ€” 2 pm Eastern.

This timely program examines what executives must consider in obtaining insurance to reduce their exposure to HIPAA privacy and security risks. In addition, the seminar will focus on how accrediting bodies play a significant role in this arena.
